The 'lamp' cord used in most of the 40's to 60's models is breaking down by now and you will see at the plugs or on the wire itself that pieces of the insulation are shattering off. When first looking at an older AMI/Rowe jukebox (prior to 1970's) the very first item to be checked is the condition of the electrical cords within the jukebox AND the power cord for signs of deterioration.

Rowe Transistor Cross Reference PDF - thanks to Erwin Boot (Flamingo Records/Auto. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide. Is there a drive speed adjustment of some sort for this machine? My manual is up with the R88 up north, so I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction. Everything sounds as if it is playing at 40RPM rather than 45RPM though. This is actually the 2nd Juke I own (I also have an R88), but the first that really needs mechanical assistance. I picked up a Rowe AMI R86 45RPM Juke recently, and it works but needs attention.
